We then hiked further along the valley rim and struggled to find water and when we finally made camp it was past dark.

The next day we hiked further out into the backcountry (away from the valley rim) toward toulume meadows. We made camp at Tenaya Lake and went swimming the rest of the day. The following morning we were greeted by a Park Ranger who kindly informed us that we were in a no camping zone. "Have you guys ever been camping before?" Lmao. The next morning we took a shuttle bus to Touleme Meadows. while we were there we were scrounging for cash just to afford breakfast. We had buckwheat pancakes and bacon which was SOOOOO good. We decided to climb Lampert Dome which allowed us a brilliant view of the Meadows.

We Finished out the Trip by camping in the Backpackers Camp on the Trail to Half Dome. We returned to the Valley Via the Mist Trail only to find That Alex's car battery had died and his AAA membership had expired...But that's it's own story altogether.
